Cookie policy
This page lists everything this website stores in your browser, what each item is for, and how long it lasts. Nothing optional is stored until you agree to it — if you reject, no analytics or advertising storage is created at all, and the site works exactly the same.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: — also available from the footer of every page.
Essential storage
These make the site function — remembering your privacy choice, preventing duplicate enquiries, and signing in our own staff. They are set regardless of your choice because the site cannot deliver what you asked for without them, and none of them is shared with an advertising network.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 912.consent.v1 | Local storage | Remembers the privacy choice you made here, so we do not ask again on every page. | 180 days, then we ask again | First party (912) |
| 912:submission:… | Session storage | A random identifier that stops one enquiry being recorded twice if you resubmit or your connection drops. It contains no contact details. | Until you close the tab | First party (912) |
| 912.engagement.v1 | Local storage | Counts which resources and pages you have opened, so we know when to offer you a call rather than more reading. Counts and timestamps only — no name, email or message. It stays on your device, except that the resulting score accompanies an enquiry if you choose to send one. | Until you clear your browser storage | First party (912) |
| sb-…-auth-token | Local storage | Keeps a 912 staff member signed in to the content management system, with multi-factor authentication. Never set for ordinary visitors. | Until sign-out or session expiry | First party (Supabase) |
Analytics — optional, off until you agree
With your agreement, Google Analytics 4 measures which pages people visit and which content is useful, and our own Supabase endpoint records a small set of named events. We never send your name, email address, phone number or the text of your message to analytics, and we have cross-device and demographic reporting switched off.
The Google tag is present on the page before you choose, but in a state Google calls denied: it stores nothing and sets no cookie. It only becomes active if you agree. If you decline, it stays inactive and simply reports an anonymous, cookieless count.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Cookie | Google Analytics — tells returning visits apart so page counts are not inflated. | Up to 2 years | Third party (Google) |
| _ga_… | Cookie | Google Analytics 4 — holds the session state for the property measuring this site. | Up to 2 years | Third party (Google) |
| _gid | Cookie | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors within a single day. Not always set. | 24 hours | Third party (Google) |
| _gat | Cookie | Google Analytics — limits how often measurement requests are sent. Not always set. | 1 minute | Third party (Google) |
| 912.campaign.v1 | Local storage | Remembers which campaign or search brought you here, so we can tell which marketing is worth continuing. | Until you withdraw consent or clear storage | First party (912) |
Marketing — not currently in use
No advertising or marketing tracker runs on this site today, so there is no marketing option to accept. If we introduce one, we will ask you for a fresh choice rather than relying on any consent you gave before. For transparency, these are the items it would set:
| Name | Type | What it does | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_aw | Cookie | Google Ads — records the search ad click that brought you here, so an enquiry you choose to send can be attributed to it. | Up to 90 days | Third party (Google) |
| _gcl_dc | Cookie | Google Ads — the same record for display and video campaigns. | Up to 90 days | Third party (Google) |
| _fbp | Cookie | Meta Pixel — identifies a browser for advertising measurement. | Up to 90 days | Third party (Meta) |
| _fbc | Cookie | Meta Pixel — records the ad click that brought you here. | Up to 90 days | Third party (Meta) |
Why we are allowed to store these
Essential storage is used because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for. Everything else is used only on the basis of your consent, which you give freely and can withdraw just as easily. Declining costs you nothing: every form, download and page works the same either way.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Withdrawing stops future optional storage and deletes the matching cookies and campaign data this site can reach. It cannot erase information a provider has already received — for that, contact us and we will handle it as a data request. Your browser settings can clear stored cookies too. If your browser blocks storage entirely, your choice may only last for the current visit, and we will ask again next time.
Controlling this outside our banner
The choice above governs this site. These controls sit with the provider or your browser, so they keep working even if you never return here. We list only the providers this site actually uses.
- Every major browser can block or delete cookies for a site, and offers a private window that discards them when you close it.
- Google Analytics can be switched off across every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Other services
Calendly handles appointment booking when you use it, under its own privacy and cookie controls. Following a link to WhatsApp or another website takes you to a service with its own policy. Our privacy policy covers how we handle enquiries, who processes them, and how to reach us.
Questions or complaints
Contact us at connect@nineonetwo.co.ke and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya at odpc.go.ke.
