Managed Endpoint Security — Bitdefender GravityZone

Endpoint protection needs policy, monitoring, reporting, and an escalation owner—not only an installed agent.

912 assesses, deploys, configures, monitors, reports, and escalates GravityZone within a contracted support window. The exact edition and add-ons depend on the estate. 912 does not publicly claim authorized Bitdefender partner status, 24/7 MDR, guaranteed containment, or automatic compliance.

What 912 Deploys

The specific Bitdefender capabilities we scope.

Product names identify technologies in scope. They do not by themselves imply partnership, authorization, certification, or a universal recommendation.

GravityZone endpoint protection

Centralized endpoint policies and preventive controls. Available features, device support, and server coverage depend on the current package, edition, add-ons, and compatibility documentation.

Ransomware prevention and mitigation controls

Controls can include detection of abnormal encryption behavior, blocking, remediation, and recovery-related capabilities where the selected licence and technical prerequisites support them. They do not guarantee recovery or replace tested backups.

Notifications, reports, and investigation options

Notifications and report exports can contribute device, time, event, and action records. Investigation depth varies by edition and add-ons; technical evidence does not determine ODPC reportability or replace an incident-response plan.

Managed 30-day evaluation

For organisations with an estate of at least 15 endpoints, 912 can run a managed pilot on a representative subset with agreed compatibility, policy, alert, reporting, and offboarding criteria. It is not described as free.

Why Bitdefender

How the technology fits an operating decision.

The fit depends on the estate, licences, prerequisites, integrations, people, support responsibilities, and alternatives.

The managed work is visible

Assessment, pilot selection, policy groups, exclusions, deployment, reporting, alert review, escalation, renewal, and offboarding are scoped rather than hidden behind a licence line.

Ransomware language keeps its prerequisites

Prevention, abnormal-encryption detection, blocking, remediation, rollback, and backup are described as different controls. Recovery-related capabilities depend on the selected licence, compatible endpoint, configuration, and retained recovery data.

The product is compared, not crowned

Microsoft Defender, Sophos, ESET, and CrowdStrike may be the better fit where an existing ecosystem, investigation requirement, device estate, internal skill base, or commercial model makes switching unhelpful.

Engagement Model

How 912 deploys Bitdefender, step by step.

The cadence we follow on every Bitdefender engagement. Slots into the broader 912 six-phase engagement model — see How We Work for the full delivery cadence.

Step 01Assess the endpoint estate

Confirm endpoint count, operating systems, servers, remote users, critical applications, existing tools, support owners, recovery dependencies, and the decisions the evaluation must support.

Step 02Agree a representative pilot

Select representative devices, success criteria, policy groups, exclusions, authorized tests, reporting audience, escalation contacts, and a clean offboarding or conversion path.

Step 03Deploy, monitor, and review

Install the approved subset, validate business compatibility, review agreed alerts and reports, document exceptions, and assess operating overhead without staging a fabricated security incident.

Step 04Convert or offboard

Record the decision, remove the pilot cleanly if it is not adopted, or quote the paid estate rollout. Ongoing monitoring, reporting, escalation, and any response responsibilities are stated in the signed scope.

Proof Points

Source-backed specifics, not vague claims.

These figures and terms are explicitly attributed in the review note below. Final commercial terms depend on the current vendor quote and the signed 912 scope.
