Seven depots. One visit. A patchwork estate brought to a consistent baseline.

A national FMCG distribution network operated depots across Mombasa, Emali, Embu, Mwingi, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Nakuru. Managing CCTV infrastructure at this geographic scale had produced a patchwork of degraded systems: cameras had gone offline without replacement, firmware had not been kept current, and NVR units had drifted offline at multiple sites. Cabling at Mombasa had deteriorated to the point that 180 metres of new cable were required to restore coverage. At Kisumu, surveillance blind spots had opened up entirely. Across three sites, NVR accounts were bound to individual user profiles — creating access-control risks that required correction before any managed care could begin. No single vendor had been maintaining the estate to a consistent standard.
Nine One Two Holdings executed a structured multi-site maintenance visit covering all seven depot locations in a single coordinated engagement. At every site, the full camera estate and NVR units were serviced: firmware was upgraded to current versions, securing each unit against known vulnerabilities and restoring compatibility with remote management tooling. NVR internet cables were connected at each location where remote access had been absent.
At the three sites with account-binding issues — Mwingi, Kisumu, and Eldoret — 912 performed password resets and account unbinding, returning administrative control to the client and removing individual-user dependencies from production security hardware. Camera faults were resolved at Embu and Mombasa. The engagement concluded with delivery of a per-site recommendations register: specific cabling metre counts, camera unit quantities, UPS requirements, and repositioning needs at every depot — giving the client a direct, costed input to their next capital expenditure cycle.

Following the visit, all seven depot locations were returned to a known-good operational state: firmware current, NVR internet connectivity restored, camera faults resolved or formally documented, and administrative credentials under proper client control. The estate transitioned from an unmanaged, deteriorated baseline to a consistently maintained one with a clear upgrade roadmap. With 912 now holding a complete picture of the estate's configuration across all seven cities, the client has a single point of accountability for ongoing CCTV maintenance — replacing the fragmented, reactive approach that had preceded the engagement.
What changed, what risk was removed, and where to go next.
Seven depots had inconsistent CCTV standards and maintenance condition.
The estate was baselined into a consistent remediation view.
Unknown camera, recorder, firmware, and credential risk across sites.
Turn this result into a scoped conversation.
Multi-site physical security deteriorates silently when there is no single accountable vendor. A coordinated baseline visit — covering firmware, cabling, access control, and documentation — costs a fraction of what reactive repairs accumulate to. If your business has more than two sites and no unified maintenance programme, the gap between perceived and actual coverage is wider than you think.
